Captive

Written by  dossier ft luís carvalhal

"On a given date, of any day, of every day, a bard, descended from a wonderful kingdom
Wide chunks of murmurs through the corners of the city where water runs
Gingling loves
Suffering horrors
Clung to the chest, in an affliction that is liked and prayed for never to end. "

Thus Paulo Bragança illustrates "Captive." After more than a decade of "Semi-nude Moon", this is the name of the new EP of the fado singer that is released on March 9th.

“Rosa da Noite”, is the first fado of this new work, and the artist's first single since 2006. It has an official release date on February 9th, exactly one month before the release of the new EP "Captive". After 17 years since his last work, Paulo Bragança now presents, together with the Alma Mater Records label, his EP "Captive" in an act of affirmation of the most independent and true of the Fadistas.

And why this name?
Paulo Bragança: It comes from "Being as voice", that is, "The captive we all have in the voice". It is the word that best represents the new themes of the fadista that with this work shows, from a shameless outside, this condition: the natural voice attached to the Voice of the Word that "in the beginning was." Captive, the Fado of each by condition.
