My condolences

Written by

A novel by Dulce Maria Cardoso.

It is a written in cascade, as if the words were in constant motion, is mainly because of the narrative style that has no paragraphs. Dulce Maria Cardoso does not intend in any way to copy the style of José Saramago , that's not it , there is punctuation, what is innovative is the way she presents Violet , the main character in its ongoing unrest , which is reflected in the way she writes each sentence , where nothing is what it seems. The narrative is a stream of events that culminate in an almost irrevocable non-final, if one can call it like that, it is so unusual. Before you start reading urge you to get rid of all your prejudices concerning reading, yes that's right , the way you think a book , how do you expect the plot to develop over several pages in several chapters and all well compartmentalized with a fitting end, has nothing to do it. This novel is simply baffling and is not for the fainted of heart. It is not a difficult read; it requires certain persistence, a taste beyond the rational for words and strong emotions. It is a book in the style of Dulce Maria, that's how I define it. Could have chosen another suggestion, but anyway, I appreciate "my condolences "by the tears of genius. It's one of those it hurts, it makes you think and question everything. And I thought that everything had already been written. Nothing could be more wrong. I'm Glad. Good reading .
