Why you decided to do it like this?
SU: My records are super- direct and homemade and it was to focus even more . I wish it was even more direct , i.e. , not only what I was going through my head, as well as everything that could be going on through people's heads. Everything was coming at the time and I had to create a song from there, not to let the raw material of the songs and ideas matured , it was the most infantile, the most primary and most explosive possible. It was recorded in one day and I received this feedback, of not filter the material that came . I like this side of the live songs are not too thought out, I think there has to be this side of exclusivity of inspiration that sometimes disappears when I begin to think of the instruments, in production, harmonic and melodic solutions . I wanted none of it.
And the feedbacks from the people disappoint you or not?
SU: No, that is to a recording relatively unknown mostly because I never publicized it, so never sold out. In that day I had cameras in the house to film me, I had thousands of people seeing and sending me emails, i.e. the accession process itself had more than the record itself and that pleases me. For me an album does not have to be the absolute in my career, I like people to think of me as a person who does concerts, or makes music at the moment and not only that crystallization of CD and in this respect having so many people in the process made me feel accomplished.
Do you think of that your future as a musician goes by doing small albums on one approach the public through these technological means ?
SU: I do not know, the more expectations there is it tends to converge to the normal processes of making music that people already expect. Having expectations people always expect something and want you to do those formulas that they recognize. As I do not like then, because I do not heard of a particular type of music that said I do not want to make songs that people expect. And despite being a musician with the formula of song, like being unpredictable and also I do not know what will be my next album and this side also has to amaze me, so I do not make plans . The secret of my music is that.
You do not like labels for your music?
SU: I do not care about the labels , but I cannot cave in to those are impose upon, I do not mind they said that I'm going to do this and that, but if I assign labels I get upset with myself, with the ones they imposed me.
Currently you have in mind the next work?
SU: I like to do a rock and roll album . Because when I was a teenager there was punk and rock that were very noisy and always come out broken and bleeding due to the confusion on the concerts and now I am thirty years of age, maybe it is a middle age crisis, but I feel the need to re-do this more youthful music.
An album more root and jovial as the previous ones?
SU : No, maybe the next record I will call a band and share some responsibilities of the composition and play things that other people wrote . A cluster with multiple vocalists and instrumentalists and each making songs, this is a project that I have for the next time.
Do you have a definition for it?
SU: No, it is completely in my head and has not exploded. I've talked to some people who have shown interest, but have not sat down to think about what can be or not.
